Today is one of the busiest air travel days of the year, and I'd like to directly address some of the issues regarding our security measures you may have heard about recently.As the administrator of the Transportation Security Administration, which was created in the aftermath of 9/11, nothing is more important to me than the safety of the traveling public. TSA, informed by the latest intelligence, researches and deploys technology and constantly evaluates and updates screening procedures in order to stay ahead of the evolving threats to aviation security.
